This page explains what we collect when you use citruslocal.com or work with us, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to get it deleted. It's written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
Who we are
Citrus Local LLC (“Citrus Local,” “we,” “us”) is a local marketing studio based in Irvine, California, serving Orange County, San Diego & the Inland Empire. Questions about this policy go to hello@citruslocal.com or (949) 593-2777.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Free audit and contact forms: your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), and which service you're interested in.
- Waitlists: your name and email, plus the plan you're waiting on.
- Proposals and agreements: if you sign a statement of work with us online, we store your name, email, the signature you draw, the time you signed, and the IP address the signature came from. That's the receipt that makes an e-signature hold up.
- Client work: once you're a client, we hold the information needed to do the job: logins you grant us to your Google Business Profile, website, ad and analytics accounts, and the business details that go on your site.
- Conversations: emails, calls, and text messages you exchange with us.
Information collected automatically
Our site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to run and protect the site. We do not currently run analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on citruslocal.com. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool later, we'll update this page.
How we use it
- To reply to you: your free audit, your questions, your proposal.
- To do the work you hire us for and report on it.
- To send service messages: appointment confirmations, report notices, invoices.
- To keep records we're legally required to keep (signed agreements, invoices).
- To keep the site and our systems secure and spam-free.
We don't build marketing profiles of you, and we don't send bulk promotional email or texts unless you've asked for them.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry or your account. The details (what we send, how often, how to stop) are in our SMS Terms. The one line that matters most:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and your text-message opt-in are never sold, rented, or handed to anyone else to market to you.
Who sees your information
We share it only with the vendors that make the work possible, only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare: hosts the site and stores form submissions.
- Google Workspace: our email.
- Telnyx: our business phone line and text messaging.
- Email delivery and reporting tools we use to send you notifications and monthly reports.
- Platforms you ask us to manage on your behalf as a client (Google, Meta, review sites, your website host).
We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it with data brokers or advertisers. We'll disclose it if the law genuinely requires us to.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and conversations: as long as we're talking or working together, then up to two years so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Signed agreements and invoices: as long as the law says (generally seven years). Ask us to delete sooner and we will, except for the records we're required to keep.
Your choices and rights
- See it or fix it: ask and we'll tell you what we have and correct it.
- Delete it: ask and we'll delete it, subject to the required-records exception above.
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Stop email: reply and say so, or use the unsubscribe link on anything bulk.
California residents have these rights in law (the CCPA/CPRA); we honor them for everyone, regardless of where you live, and we won't treat you differently for using them. To exercise any of them, email hello@citruslocal.com. We'll confirm it's you and respond within 45 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with providers who encrypt it at rest. Access is limited to the two founders. Client logins you share with us are stored in a password manager, never in email or documents. No system is perfect; if something ever goes wrong with your data, we'll tell you promptly and plainly.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is material, we'll tell existing clients directly.
